#The Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of La Salette was born by the founding event.

#Historical Background

The Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of La Salette (SNDS) is the result of the union of two Congregations with the same spirituality: The Reparatrices Sisters and the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of La Salette.

The Reparatrices Sisters: Following various pilgrimages to Our Lady of La Salette, Miss Henriette Deluy-Fabry, born in Marseille in 1828, dedicated to become a religious of La Salette by founding a new Congregation, animated by a threefold spirit: sacrifice, apostolate and prayer. She was encouraged by Pope Pius IX in 1866.

On December 20, 1872, the first seven Reparatrices Religious went up to the Shrine of La Salette to serve the pilgrims.

The Missionary Sisters: At the beginning of the 20th century, a new missionary impulse developed. Within this context, Father Crozet, Superior General of the Missionaries of La Salette, founded the Missionary Sisters. They were recognised as a Religious Congregation at Soissons on February 2, 1930 by local Ordinary. The Constitutions were approved by the Bishop of Soissons on October 25, 1930. They were founded to spread Mary’s message around the world – “Make it known to all my people”.        

In 1955, at the request of the Reparatrices Sisters, the union of the two religious families started. On January 20, 1962, the Sacred Congregation for Religious Life authorised the two Congregations to become one, under the title of “Sisters of Our Lady of La Salette”.

The inspirations and the calling of La Salette Vocation is always carried by the nature of “the message of the Apparition of Mary at La Salette”. Thus, the young girls went to join the congregation of the Sisters of La Salette by the encouragement of Bishop Paul Zinghtung Grawng, Bishop of Myitkyina. That was the beginning of how the congregation of Sisters of Our Lady of La Salette inspired to open community in Myitkyina Diocese, Myanmar. In God’s purpose, the mission immersion started in 2003 and officially opened in November 22, 2005.

Sisters of Our Lady of La Salette, Celebrating the fullness of life, One with creation and entered in Jesus, the Risen Christ, Filled and moved by the Holy Spirit As a witnessing community of Faith, Hope and Love, Journeying with Mary and the people to whom we are sent in the spirit of reconciliation.

#Mission:

Open to the promptings of the Holy Spirit in the changing realities of the times within the context of the local Church, we commit ourselves to: living an authentic SNDS community life, ensuring an integral formation of candidates, lay mission partners and Sisters, deepening the sense of the sacred in creation and in the cultures and religious traditions of the people, building basic human-Christian communities together with the local Church and the wider society, participating in the biblical, socio-pastoral and inter-faith programs of the diocese.

#Formation Stages

Volunteership:  We begin our vocation journey in the spirit of volunteership.

#Aspirancy: Aspirant is to discover gifts and talents to respond one’s call to serve God in the Church.

#Postulancy: The candidates are called to live a life of community with the Sisters and exploring the ministries of the Sisters locally or internationally.

#Novitiate: The period of novitiate is a stage of encountering the spiritual source and the experiencing the international community life, and deepen the spirituality and charism of the congregation and religious life in canonical year.

#Juniorate: The spirit of missionary and discipleship is the key to discern one’s religious life more firmly in order to give oneself for Christ totally.

Today, we, the Sisters of Our Lady of La Salette, are called to bring the message of La Salette. Apparition known to all through our life and mission of Reconciliation and Conversion. Currently we are at service in France, Brazil, Madagascar, Poland, USA, Angola, Philippines, Myanmar, Italy and Algeria to witness our missionary discipleship.

လာဆလက္မယ္ေတာ္သီလရွင္မ်ားအသင္းဂိုဏ္း

                     လာဆလက္မယ္ေတာ္သီလရွင္အသင္းဂိုဏ္းသည္ ၁၉၆၂၊ ဇန္ရဝါရီ၊ ၂၀ ရက္ တြင္ဝိညာဥ္က်င့္စဥ္တူညီေသာ အသင္းဂိုဏ္းႏွစ္ခုျဖစ္ေသာ Reparatrices သီလရွင္မ်ားႏွင့္ လာဆလက္မယ္ေတာ္ သာသနာျပဳ သီလရွင္မ်ား အတူေပါင္းစပ္ျခင္း မွစတင္ဖြဲ႕စည္းခဲ့ေသာ သီလရွင္အသင္းဂိုဏ္းျဖစ္သည္။

အသင္းဂိုဏ္းကိုတည္ေထာင္သူ - ၁၈၄၆၊ စက္တင္ဘာလ၊ ၁၉ ရက္၌ မယ္ေတာ္ထင္ရွားျပရာမွ စတင္ေသာ အသင္းဂိုဏ္းျဖစ္သျဖင့္ founding event - ထင္ရွားျပျခင္းျဖစ္စဥ္ အသင္းဂုိဏ္းျဖစ္ပါသည္။

          အသင္းဂိုဏ္း၏ ဝိညာဥ္က်င့္စဥ္မွာ - ျပန္လည္ေက်ေအးသင့္ျမတ္ျခင္းျဖစ္သည္။

ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံမွ အမ်ိဳးသမီးငယ္မ်ားသည္ အဖဆရာေတာ္ေပါလ္ဇင္ထုန္းဂေရာင္၏လမ္းညြန္ကူညီ အားေပးမႈျဖင့္ လာဆလက္အသင္းဂိုဏ္းသို႔ ၀င္ေရာက္ကာ လာဆလက္သီလရွင္မ်ားျဖစ္လာခဲ့ၾကသည္။ထို႔ေနာက္ ၂၀၀၃၊ ၾသဂုတ္လ၊ ၁၁ ရက္ တြင္ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံရွိ ျမစ္ႀကီးနားသာသနာ တြင္ စတင္ေနထိုင္íအေစခံခဲ့ရာ ၂၀၀၅၊ ႏို၀င္ဘာလ၊ ၂၂ရက္တြင္ လာဆလက္သီလရွင္ဂိုဏ္း၏ သာသနာလုပ္ငန္း တြင္ ပါ၀င္ဆက္ကပ္မႈအား တရား၀င္အသိအမွတ္ ျပဳခဲ့သည္။

အသင္းဂိုဏ္း၏ ေမွ်ာ္မွန္းခ်က္

လာဆလက္မယ္ေတာ္သီလရွင္မ်ားသည္ ဖန္ဆင္းခံအရာမ်ားႏွင့္တူ ရွင္ျပန္ထေျမာက္ေသာ သခင္ခရစ္ေတာ္ထံ ခ်ဥ္းကပ္၍သန္႕ရွင္းေသာ ဝိညာဥ္ေတာ္၏ ႏိုးေဆာ္မႈတြင္ ျပည့္၀ေသာဘ၀ကို က်င္းပရင္း မိမိအေစခံေသာ သူမ်ားအားျပန္လည္ေက်ေအးျခင္း၊ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ျခင္းႏွင့္ ခ်စ္ျခင္းအဖြဲ႕အစည္းဘ၀ကို သက္ေသခံၾကသည္။

သန္႕ရွင္းေသာ ဝိညာဥ္ေတာ္၏ လမ္းၫြန္ႏိုးေဆာ္ျခင္းအားျဖင့္ ေနရာေဒသ၏ ေျပာင္းလဲမႈေပၚမူတည္၍ေဒသခံ အသင္းေတာ္ထဲတြင္ကၽြန္ုပ္တို႔သည္စစ္မွန္ေသာ SNDS အဖြဲ႕အစည္းဘ၀ကို ေနထိုင္ျခင္း၊ သီလရွင္ေက်ာင္းသူမ်ား၊ ဘာသာသူ သာသနာျပဳလုပ္ေဖာ္ကိုင္းဖက္မ်ားႏွင့္ တစ္လံုးတစ္၀ တစ္သားတည္း ေနထိုင္ျခင္း၊ ေဒသခံ အသင္းေတာ္ႏွင့္ လူ႔အဖြဲ႕အစည္းကိုတည္ေဆာက္ျခင္း သာသနာ၏ တမန္ေတာ္လုပ္ငန္းစဥ္ျဖစ္ေသာ သမၼာက်မ္းစာဆိုင္ရာ၊ လူမႈဖြ႕ံၿဖိဳးမႈဆိုင္ရာ၊ ဘာသာေပါင္းစံုဆိုင္ရာတြင္ပါ၀င္ လုပ္ေဆာင္ရန္ မိမိကိုယ္ကိုယ္  ဆက္ကပ္အပ္ႏွံသည္။

                                     အသင္းဂိုဏ္းသို႔၀င္ရန္ သင္တန္းသူအဆင့္မ်ား

ဆက္ကပ္ျခင္းအဆင့္ (Volunteership) - ကၽြႏိုပ္တို႔၏ ေခၚေတာ္မူျခင္း ဘ၀ သက္တာကို ဆက္ကပ္အပ္ႏွံလိုေသာစိတ္ႏွလံုးျဖင့္အစျပဳသည္။

၀င္လိုသူအဆင့္ (Aspirancy) - ၀င္လိုသူအေနနဲ႕ အသင္းေတာ္တြင္ ဘုရားသခင္ကိုအေစခံရန္ဟူေသာ မိမိ၏ ေခၚေတာ္မူျခင္းကို အသံုးေတာ္ျပဳႏိုင္ရန္အတြက္ မိမိအားဘုရားေပးသည့္ ပင္ကိုယ္အရည္အခ်င္းမ်ားကိုရွာေဖြသည္။

ေတာင္းခံအဆင့္ (Postulancy) - သင္တန္းသူမ်ားသည္ သီလရွင္မ်ားႏွင့္ အတူ အဖြဲ႕အစည္းဘ၀ကို ေနထိုင္ကာျပည္တြင္း ျပည္ပမွ လာဆလက္ သီလရွင္မ်ား၏ တမန္ေတာ္လုပ္ငန္းမ်ားကို ေလ့လာသင္ယူသည္။

သီလရွင္ေလာင္းအဆင့္ (Novitiate) - အဆင့္တြင္ အသင္းဂိုဏ္း၏ ဝိညာဥ္က်င့္စဥ္မ်ားကို ပိုမိုေလးနက္စြာ ေလ့လာသင္ယူကာ က်င့္ၾကံေနထိုင္ျခင္းျဖင့္ သူေတာ္စင္ဘ၀ႏွင့္ဆိုင္ေသာ အေတြ႕အၾကံဳမ်ားကို ရယူေစသည္။ထို႔အျပင္ လာဆလက္မယ္ေတာ္ ထင္းရွာခဲ့ေသာ ျပင္သစ္ႏိုင္ငံ La Salette Shrine ၀တ္ျပဳရာ တြင္မိမိ၏ဝိညာဥ္ေရးရာ တိုးပြားရန္ ေနထိုင္သည္။
