သခင်ယေဇူးက တစုံတဦးအား "ငါ့နောက်သို့လိုက်လော့" ဟူ၍ဖိတ်ခေါ်လိုက်သည့်အချိန်တွင် သူ၏နောက်ကိုမည်သို့ လိုက်ရမည်ကို  မြေခွေး၌တွင်းရှိ၏။ မိုးကောင်းကင်ငှက်တို့ ၌လည်း အသိုက်ရှိကြ ၏။ လူသား၌မူကား မိမိ၏ခေါင်းချစရာနေရာမရှိ"ဟူ၍ သူကိုယ်တိုင်ကပင်နောက်လိုက်တဦးအတွက် နမူနာစံပြအဖြစ် ပြသနေခဲ့ပါသည်။ စိန်ခေါ်မှုတရပ်ပင်ဖြစ်နေသည် မဟုတ်ပါလား။ မည်သည့်ဘဝပုံစံနှင့် မည်သည့် အသက်အရွယ်ရှိနေစေကာမူ သခင်ယေဇူး၏တပည့်တော်ဖြစ်လာနိုင်ရေးနှင့် ၊ ထိုအတိုင်း ဆက်လက်သစ္စာတည်နိုင်ရေးတို့မှာ စိန်ခေါ်မှုက အမြဲရှိပါသည်။ တပည့်တော်ဖြစ်ခြင်း ဟူသည်မှာ ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် ထားရှိသည့် ဆက်ဆံရေးကို ပိုမိုနက်ရှိုင်းလာစေကာမိမိဘဝကိုပြောင်းလဲနေခြင်း ခရီးစဥ်ပင်ဖြစ်ပေသည်။ ၎င်းမှာ အဖွဲ့ဝင်ဖြစ်ခြင်းမှ တပည့်တော်ဖြစ်ခြင်းသို့ ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းပင် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။တပည့်တော်ဖြစ်လာသည့်အခါတွင်အလုံးစုံဆက်ကပ်အပ်နှံခြင်း၊ နှိမ့်ချခြင်းနှင့် အကြမ်းမဖက်ခြင်း နည်းလမ်းတို့ဖြင့် သခင်ယေဇူး၏ လမ်းစဥ်တော်အား ထင်ရှားစေခြင်းဖြစ်လေသည်။(Richard Rohr) ဘုရားသခင်၊ အခြားသူများ၊ဖန်ဆင်းခံအရာအားလုံးတို့နှင့် ဆက်ဆံရေးကို ပိုမိုနက်ရှိုင်းစေရန်မှာ အသင်းတော်ကြီးက ယနေ့တွင် ပွဲနေ့ကျင်းပနေသည့်သူငယ်တော်ယေဇူးလေး၏ရဟန္တာမ ထရေဇားက ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အတွက်နမူနာ အဖြစ်ရှိနေပါသည်။ သူမက ဝိညာဥ်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ နုငယ်ခြင်းအတွက် သေးငယ်သော လမ်းစဥ်၊ ယုံကြည်အပ်နှံခြင်း နှင့် ချစ်လေးမြတ်ခြင်းဆိုင်ရာ သေးငယ်သောလမ်းစဥ် တို့ကိုသင်ကြားပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။"စာမဖတ်တတ်သည့်ကလေးငယ်များကဲ့သို့ ကျွန်မ ပြုမူပါသည်။ ကောင်းမြတ်သည့် ဘုရား သခင်ထံ ကျွန်မ ပြောလိုသည့်အကြောင်းအရာများကို အလွန်ရိုးရှင်းစွာသာပြောပြပါသည်။ သူကလည်း ကျွန်မအား အဲနားလည် ပါသည်။" ဟူ၍ ပြောထားရာ ကလေးငယ်များ၏ ရိုးရှင်းခြင်းဟူသည်မှာ ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်ရိုးရှင်းစွာ စကားပြောဆိုခြင်းပင်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရပါသည်။ သို့ဖြစ်ရာသခင်ယေဇူး၏ တပည့်တော်ဖြစ်လာစေရန်နှင့်တပည့်တော်အဖြစ် သစ္စာတည်နိုင်ရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင်ကလေးငယ်များ၏ နှလုံးသားမျိုး ရှိနေရပါမည်။ ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်အစဥ်အမြဲ အသက်ရှင်နေထိုင်ခြင်း၊ စကားပြောဆိုရာတွင် ရှင်းရှင်းလင်းလင်းပြောဆိုခြင်း၊ စိတ်နှလုံးထဲမှ နေ၍ပြောဆိုခြင်းမျိုးတို့ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ဘုရားသခင်ထံ ရှုတ်ထွေးသည့်အခြားသော စကားပြောဆိုဟန်များထက်၊ နှလုံးသားဘာသာစကားဖြင့် ပြောဆိုခြင်းကသာ အရေးကြီးပါတော့သည်။



Reflection: “Discipleship of Christ”

In calling us to follow him, “Follow me!” Jesus himself sets the example for us. ‘Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.’ Isn’t it challenging? To become and remain Jesus’s disciple, whatever form it takes, in whatever age, is challenging. It is never going to be an easy or a soft option. Discipleship involves a journey of deepening connection with God and transforming one's life. It is a move from "membership" to true discipleship. “Discipleship leads to a life of surrender, humility, and non-violence, mirroring Jesus's own path” (Richard Rohr). To deepen our relationship with God, with one another and all of creation, we have the example of St Thérèse of the Child of Jesus, whose feast the Church celebrates today. She taught us her way of spiritual childhood, the way of trust and love. The simplicity of children is speaking to God simply. “I act as children do who cannot read; I say quite simply to the good God what I want to tell Him, and He always understands me."Therefore, to follow Jesus, to become and to remain his disciple, we need the heart of a child – ever-available to God’s presence, speaking plainly and from the heart.  It’s the heart language that speaks to God; it is more than our other conversations.
