ဝါတွင်းမှာ အစာရှောင်လိုက်တာ ဗိုက်နားကအဆီတွေပါးလျသွားပြီး ရင်ထဲကခွင့်မလွှတ်နိုင်ခြင်းတွေ ထူကဲလာတယ်ဆိုရင်အကျိုးမရှိပါဘူး။ စစ်မှန်တဲ့အစာရှောင်ခြင်းအဖြစ်ကျင့်ရမယ့်အရာတွေကို ဒီနေ့ပထမကျမ်းရဲ့အခန်းငယ် ၆-၇ မှာ တိတိကျကျဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်။ကက်သလစ်အသင်းတော်၏ဘုရားစကား(အမှတ် ၂၄၄၇)မှာ ဝိညာဉ်၊ကာယ နှစ်ဌာနနဲ့သက်ဆိုင်တဲ့ကရုဏာရေးလုပ်ငန်းများ၊တစ်နည်းအားဖြင့် ပရောဖက်ဟေရှာယ ဟောခဲ့တဲ့စစ်မှန်သော အစာရှောင်ခြင်းကိုဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်။ seven spiritual works of mercy and seven corporal works of mercy (CCC. 2447)
